Artist Application Details

This is a juried festival. All artists must apply through ZAPP.

The 2024 registration fee is $40.00 and the booth fee is $300.00 ($600.00 if you chose to purchase one of the limited number of double booths — they will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis once invitations are released).

The show features 110 artists from all over the United States, in Ceramics (Functional or Decorative), Drawing/Pastels/Printmaking, Fiber/Leather, Glass, Jewelry, 2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed Media, Painting (watercolor, oil or acrylic), Photography, Sculpture and Wood. 

The Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts will present $3,500 in awards. Award winners are automatically invited back the following year and are exempt from the jury process.

Artists’ parking is off site from the festival grounds. Shuttle vans are available for easy access to the Festival. We offer a continental breakfast for all artists Saturday and Sunday morning from 7:00am — 9:45am.  All festival information will be in your artist’s packet and given out at the Registration on the Friday of the festival weekend.  All festival details will also be emailed to each artist through ZAPP prior to the festival.

Payment will be made on ZAPP using a credit card or PayPal. There is no refund after payment is received for those who withdraw from the Festival after accepting the invitation to participate & paying for a spot in the Festival.

Artist Load-In and Set-Up: 

  • Friday, August 15 @ 5:00pm (no one may set up before 5:00pm)
  • Great organization, great communication throughout the year by the art committee administration. The best art fair around. Party really great. Everyone is so helpful and friendly! Publicity got to more people this year and attendance has increased.

Oconomowoc Community Information

Artist Housing

Please do not apply for housing until you have paid for your booth fee.

The Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts offers a limited number of private housing accommodations on Friday and Saturday nights for festival artists. This is made possible with the help of local residents through our “Adopt-An-Artist” program.

If you choose this option, you will receive notification in early summer with the name and contact info for your host family.

As these are private residences, we request that you do not ask them to accommodate pets and inquire first about children.

In order to be accepted for Adopt-an-Artist (free housing) program, we are requiring the artists and their guests be vaccinated for Covid 19.
